DATA ARCHITECT / BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGER (m/f/d)

As a Data Architect / Business Process Manager you will build and govern a central project data platform that unifies BIM, ERP, sensor data and GIS to enable data-driven decisions across the organization. You will also analyze and redesign business processes with automation and AI, driving standardisation and efficiency across operations. In this role you work closely with IT, compliance and business units to deliver scalable data and process solutions that support the firm’s infrastructure planning mission. • Design, build and operate a central project data platform integrating BIM, ERP, sensor data, GIS and other sources
• Define and enforce data standards and storage structures across the organisation
• Break down data silos and ensure a consistent, high-quality data foundation
• Evaluate and select data technologies based on interface compatibility and scalability
• Analyze and document existing business processes and identify automatable activities
• Redesign processes with intelligent automation and AI
• Identify AI and digitalisation use cases within operational units
• Model target-state processes for technical implementation
• Contribute to the AI Board on data topics and ensure GDPR compliance
• Collaborate with Data Protection & Compliance and Business Partner Management

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or comparable
• Several years of experience in data engineering, data architecture or business intelligence
• Knowledge of process modelling (e.g. BPMN) and process optimisation
• Experience with data platforms, ETL processes and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
• Advantageous: experience in planning, construction or infrastructure sector; knowledge of BIM or GIS
• Strong analytical mindset with a process- and delivery-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
