Overview

In this role you will lead the design of packaging for METRO's Own Brand across multiple food categories, coordinating from concept to production. You will keep brand identity consistent, ensure regulatory compliance, and tailor packaging for wholesale and foodservice channels. You work with cross-functional teams to drive high-quality visuals and timely delivery. This position combines design creativity with project management to scale packaging across international markets. You will contribute to a cohesive packaging system that supports growth and regulatory standards.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Design packaging for Own Brand products across food categories
Create and maintain international design guidelines for brand consistency
Translate product information into clear packaging visuals
Ensure compliance with European packaging labeling requirements
Maintain packaging master data and artwork specifications for multiple channels
Coordinate packaging projects from concept to production
Collaborate with international teams and suppliers to implement best practices
Manage project budgets and invoices for cost-effective delivery

Zentrale Anforderungen

University degree or equivalent in relevant fields with minimum 3 years in retail/FMCG packaging
Knowledge of European packaging legislation, food contact, materials, printing, artwork, and production
Strong visual design and creative problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and high quality standards
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to work with international cross-functional teams
Commercial awareness and cost-conscious decision-making
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
