Plant Processes and Masterdata Expert (all genders)

In this role you will drive IT-enabled production and logistics excellence at Bayer’s Dormagen site, leading SAP and digital transformation initiatives that optimize manufacturing, warehousing and shipping. You will partner with global teams, act as SAP and Local Process Owner, and support audits to ensure compliant, efficient processes. You’ll shape master data and reporting to enable data-driven decisions in a diverse, intercultural setting. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to accelerate digitalization in a production environment.

• Ensure operational readiness and digital advancement of IT production and logistics processes (SAP, myDoc, etc.) through managing IT/digital transformation projects and implementing new software versions with change management.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale IT and digital transformation projects, ensuring quality, timelines, costs and resources.
• Coordinate local Dormagen operations and collaborate with global Product Supply sites while managing global IT projects to meet local IT/process requirements.
• Serve as SAP and Process Expert (Key User) and Local Process Owner (SAP-ERP) for Production and Warehouse, working with users and the Global Process Owner community.
• Support ICS and QM audits.
• Own and optimize production, warehousing, and shipping processes within SAP R/3 (SD, PP-PI, WM/MM), including logistics planning activities at the Dormagen site.

• Bachelor degree or comparable training in relevant fields such as production/logistics engineering, process management, IT management, or digitalization.
• Several years of experience managing relevant projects and optimizing processes in a global IT environment with local implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of production, logistics, and documentation processes (e.g., SAP, myDoc) and their interrelations.
• Strong understanding of the interplay between production and logistics, master data, and digital reporting.
• Outstanding communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and resolve conflicts.
• Proven project management and technical leadership skills with organized, time-conscious, flexible working style.
• Dedicated customer focus and ability to work in an intercultural environment.
