Director Real World Evidence Scientist (Oncology) (all genders)

In this role you lead the end-to-end real-world evidence (RWE) strategy for complex oncology programs, acting as a scientific authority across the organization. You will integrate RWE into clinical development and regulatory plans, design non-interventional studies, and select fit-for-purpose data sources. You’ll communicate with senior leadership, represent the company externally, and mentor colleagues, driving methodological innovation and continuous learning. • Define and lead end-to-end RWE strategy for oncology programs
• Integrate RWE into clinical development and regulatory strategies
• Design, initiate, and oversee non-interventional studies from protocol to reporting
• Select appropriate real-world data sources (claims, EHRs, registries)
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, market access, and commercial teams
• Represent the organization to health authorities and contribute to publications and conferences
• Drive methodological innovation and process improvements
• Mentor colleagues within the function

• 8+ years of RWE experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO
• Deep expertise in secondary data studies (claims data, EHRs, registries) across multiple regions
• Experience with federated data networks and data standards (OMOP CDM, FHIR)
• Strong epidemiology, pharmacology, and pharmacovigilance skills
• Track record of leading RWE strategy at a global program level
• Experience with regulatory and/or payer submissions and interactions
• Fluent in English; clear communication to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Ideally AI/ML experience in RWE (NLP), PROs, HTA, and thought leadership through publications
