Engineering Manager - Cloud & Security (m/f/x)

In this Engineering Manager role, you lead the Tooling & Security team to maintain and improve internal tooling, cloud governance, and security. You will guide an international engineering team, enabling secure, efficient work across FINN. You drive the development of tooling for cloud governance, security detection, automation, and IT management with a build-it-run-it mindset. You will own and shape technical projects and incident response where needed, focusing on scalable, high-quality outcomes.

• Hire and lead an international, world-class engineering team

• Build, test, deploy, and monitor features with a build-it, run-it mindset
• Own company-wide technical projects (e.g., migrations, patching) as a coordinator
• Participate in disaster recovery and incident response efforts when required

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in large-scale projects
• 2+ years of experience leading a software engineering team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with platform or security engineering practices
• Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and incident response (preferred)
• Ability to drive company-wide technical projects as a coordinator
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Python, or Go and code review abilities
• Deep knowledge of AWS or GCP and willingness to learn the other
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills
