As Enterprise Architect for Strategic Domains, you shape the future EA practice across key business and IT domains within Heraeus. You align business strategy with IT roadmap and transformation portfolios, providing clear architectural guidance for cross-domain topics. You’ll develop reference and target architectures, support investment decisions, and coach stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps. • Shape and evolve enterprise architecture practices across strategically relevant domains in line with business priorities and IT strategy
• Develop capability- and location-spanning reference architectures and strategic target architectures
• Support portfolio and investment decisions with architectural impact assessments and pragmatic recommendations
• Coach business and IT stakeholders in top-down architecture planning and roadmapping
• Contribute to architecture governance, standards and guardrails for consistent decisions
• Moderate architecture discussions and balance business needs, tech options and economics
• Build partnerships with business functions, IT teams, domain experts and architects
• Advise on architectural best practices ensuring alignment with EA standards

• Several years of experience in enterprise architecture, business architecture, domain architecture, IT strategy or similar in a complex, international organization
• Understanding of EA methods, target architecture development, governance, principles and standards
• Ability to translate business strategies into clear architectural guidance without unnecessary detail
• Strong grasp of current tech trends and their relevance to business transformation
• Experience in facilitating architecture decisions and aligning stakeholder perspectives
• Hands-on, architecture-driven mindset to support concepts from idea to implementation
• Strong communication, moderation and presentation skills for diverse audiences
• Fluent German and English
• TOGAF or equivalent certifications are an advantage
