Global Head of Procurement

As Global Head of Procurement, you will define and drive the end-to-end procurement strategy for Direct and Indirect spend across a complex, international organization. You will build and lead a high-performing global procurement function, shape governance, and enhance supplier performance, risk management, and ESG alignment. You will collaborate with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, Legal, and ESG to deliver value, ensure supply continuity, and accelerate digital transformation. This role offers strategic influence, scale, and the opportunity to drive sustainable cost optimization in a multinational setting.

• Define the global procurement strategy for Direct and Indirect categories aligned with business goals
• Own group-wide procurement governance and ethical sourcing standards with control frameworks
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and risk monitoring
• Professionalize decentralized Indirect Procurement and standardize sourcing with cross-functional partnerships
• Strengthen supply resilience, compliance, and ESG integration in sourcing and reporting
• Lead procurement transformation through digitalization, data quality improvement, and capability building with executive engagement

• Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership of global teams
• Track record managing large, complex spend portfolios (ideally CHF 500m+) across Direct and Indirect categories
• Experience in multinational, matrix-driven organizations within industrial, manufacturing, or technology environments
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen in cost optimization, category management, and contract structuring
• Solid understanding of procurement finance levers, risk management, and global supply continuity
• Proven ability to drive change, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management with credibility to influence executives
• Master’s degree in relevant fields; MBA or equivalent preferred
• Fluent English; German/French/Mandarin advantageous
