Global Procurement Manager — Finished Products (m/f/d)

As Global Procurement Manager, you will drive defined subcategories within Finished Products, shaping global sourcing strategies and managing international supplier relationships. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, reliable, and sustainable sourcing. The role emphasizes supplier performance, contract negotiations, and risk management in an international, precision manufacturing context. You will contribute to global procurement projects that optimize processes and support capacity planning and delivery reliability.

• Develop and implement global sourcing and category strategies for Finished Products subcategories
• Manage and develop international suppliers within assigned subcategories
• Conduct global market, cost, and supplier analyses to uncover sourcing opportunities
• Own supplier relationships including contract management and performance tracking
• Lead price, contract, and commercial negotiations aligned with global strategies
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Product Management to align sourcing with requirements
• Ensure delivery reliability, support capacity planning, and proactive risk management
• Define and report KPIs, cost-saving initiatives, and performance metrics
• Contribute to global and cross-functional procurement projects across the organization

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable qualification (with strong technical background)
• Two+ years in strategic sourcing or technical procurement
• Experience in supplier and subcategory management with negotiation skills
• Intercultural competence and ability to interact with international stakeholders
• Strong analytical, structured, and strategic mindset
• Very good SAP knowledge and MS Office proficiency
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, resilience and flexibility
• Willingness to travel internationally
