Global Industrial IoT & OT Project Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will advance Döhler’s IIoT edge and cloud platforms as a key part of the global digital ecosystem. You will expand the in-house application marketplace and ensure seamless integration of new digital services. You will reinforce the industrial cybersecurity framework and secure the OT landscape across manufacturing sites. You will leverage AI-enabled approaches to prototype and optimize data processing, system integration, and operational efficiency. • Develop and enhance IIoT edge and cloud platforms as part of the digital ecosystem
• Own and grow the in-house application marketplace with seamless integrations
• Contribute to global implementation and evolution of the industrial cybersecurity framework
• Apply AI-enabled development methods to prototype and optimize data processing and system integration
• Conduct regular cybersecurity assessments and audits across global manufacturing sites
• Monitor production networks to identify, investigate, and respond to anomalies and threats

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Automation Engineering, or related field
• 3–6 years of professional experience in IIoT, OT, industrial automation, or related digital manufacturing environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across functions and regions
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage
• Intercultural awareness and experience in international environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on implementation experience
• Passion for emerging technologies, cybersecurity, and AI-driven innovation in industrial contexts
