Senior Manager Global Manufacturing Engineering & Footprint Industrial (m/f/d)

In this role you drive global manufacturing engineering and footprint strategy for Industrial Filtration, shaping production processes, technology adoption, and site networks. You’ll collaborate across R&D, Quality, and operations to standardize processes, assess new technologies, and deliver cost-efficient manufacturing solutions. You will lead regional sites within a matrix organization and influence senior leadership through robust business cases. This role offers scale, cross‑functional impact, and the chance to advance the company’s leadership in filtration.

• Coordinate global design of production processes, equipment and CAPEX with industrial requirements
• Define production footprint and capacity strategy, including site selection
• Identify core manufacturing competencies to support business strategy
• Develop global, cost-efficient manufacturing standards via the LEAD Team
• Provide global leadership for Industrial Manufacturing Engineering across regions
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and perform cost-benefit analyses
• Collaborate with R&D and QA to ensure design- and quality-compliant solutions
• Prepare and lead business cases for senior executives
• Promote global best practices, coordinate resources and establish KPIs with governance to ensure compliance and excellence

• 10+ years in Operations with 5–7 years in a leadership role in manufacturing engineering
• Experience managing cross-functional projects in multicultural environments
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing engineering, site and production network management, and financial management
• Experience in quality management, equipment maintenance, and EHS
• Expertise in continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TQM)
• Experience with SAP; international leadership and team development beneficial
• Excellent English and good German skills
