Manager Manufacturing & Process Engineering (f/d/m)

In this role you will lead a manufacturing engineering team within the Global Engineering group in Munich, driving process improvements and ensuring scalable, compliant production. You collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations to bring new products to manufacturing and optimize existing lines. You will champion Lean and Six Sigma to boost efficiency and quality, while shaping a culture of technical excellence. • Drive process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to resolve manufacturing issues and minimize downtime.
• Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) with R&D to ensure manufacturability and lead process validation and equipment qualification.
• Evaluate and deploy new equipment and automation to boost capability and scalability.
• Partner with Quality to maintain process controls, conduct RCA/CAPA, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead engineering projects and collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, and R&D to drive operational excellence.

• Bachelor in Engineering with 9+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, or Master with 7+ years.
• 5+ years in regulated manufacturing environments (FDA, ISO 13485, cGMP, or equivalent).
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience managing engineering or technical teams.
• Experience leading capital equipment projects, facility expansions, or manufacturing process implementation from concept through qualification and production.
• Experience with process validation, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), change control, and risk management in a regulated environment.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, Maximo, CMMS, TrackWise, MasterControl, or equivalent systems.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
