Global IT Project Senior Specialist - Meetings & Events

Overview

In this role you will drive the technology behind in-person and hybrid meetings, partnering with meeting owners to align AV/IT with goals. You’ll work with venues and AV partners to deliver seamless attendee experiences and support on-site execution. As part of the global METS team, you’ll help mature event operations to scale with business growth. This position combines hands-on technology delivery with cross-functional collaboration to enable compelling, disruption-ready meetings. You will be central to delivering state‑of‑the‑art event technology in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Build relationships across IT to mobilize resources for events
Manage stakeholders and act as a thought partner
Collaborate across functions with meeting owners and Enterprise Services
Coordinate with venues and 3rd party AV/vendors to execute events
Support on-site AV/IT delivery for hybrid and in-person meetings
Contribute to maturing event execution operations for scale
Provide technical guidance to ensure a flawless attendee/presenter experience

Zentrale Anforderungen

Multiple years of experience in a global IT organization within a professional services setting
Proven track record with vendors/third parties to achieve event technology outcomes
Strong end-to-end events project management experience
Deep understanding of the BCG technical environment (e.g., laptop imaging, break/fix, attendee support)
Interest in the market landscape for in-person and hybrid events
Effective verbal and written communication, with active listening
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize across multiple events
Ability to build networks to mobilize IT and vendor resources
Audio/Video expertise related to meetings
Solid IT background with technology and methodologies
Understanding of event supporting technologies (networks, wireless, VPN, SSIDs, wireless profiles)
Formal IT qualifications would be an advantage
