Job Description

The incumbent in this job will be tasked with responsibilities of ensuring the successful transformation of innovative ideas generated by researchers, students, and staff of UNAM into business concept note/feasibility studies. He/she will work with researchers and students from research project conception to prototype and incubation stages leading to commercialization. He/she will also, assist the Director in providing high-level administrative and operational support for effective and efficient management and administration of business functions in the Center for Innovation and development. Assist with resource mobilization to fund feasibility studies on project that show potential for incubation and prototype development.

Requirements

A Master’s degree in Business Management, IT, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or equivalent qualification with a track record of having worked in an innovation & business development and technology sector and community engagement. At least 5 years relevant experience in business development and Innovation incubation leading to product & services development including sound understanding of innovation value chain. A PhD is an added advantage.
