Head of Business Development (m/w/d)

At INLEAP Photonics , we develop innovative and ultra-fast laser system technology for industrial and safety-critical applications. In addition to optimising laser processes in manufacturing, we also work on high-precision systems for drone defence. Our goal is to set new standards in productivity and precision with maximum safety, reliability and efficiency.

In order to open up new markets for our INLEAP® FASTLIGHT® technology, establish strategic partnerships and scale our growth in a targeted manner, we are looking for reinforcement in the area of business development:

Head of Business Development (m/w/d)

As Head of Business Development (m/f/d), you will identify and develop new business areas, establish strategic partnerships and be responsible for structured market entry into industrial and safety-critical application areas. You will work closely with product, sales and management and drive forward the positioning of INLEAP Photonics as a technology partner in the international arena.

Your responsibilities:

• Identifying and evaluating new markets and areas of application
• Establishing strategic partnerships with industry and system partners
• Developing go-to-market strategies for new products and segments
• Supporting pilot projects, partnerships and funding projectsi
• Market and competition analyses and business case development
• Close cooperation with product management and sales

Your qualifications and skills:

• Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, engineering or similar
• Several years of experience in business development, ideally in an industrial, B2B or high-tech environment
• Experience in establishing partnerships and market entry strategies
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Business fluent communication in German and English
