Head of Finance Strategy & Transformation

A very renowned healthcare institution in Munich, employing several throusand people, is looking for a Head of Strategic Controlling Projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious management/audit consultants or controlling professionals who want to take the next step into leadership - and use their expertise where it has a direct impact on the future of healthcare.

In this role, you will lead a compact team and take ownership of strategically important projects across the Controlling division. You will provide direction, develop your team and turn complex challenges into sustainable solutions.

• Lead cross-functional controlling projects focused on process optimization and standardization
• Drive the digitalization and further development of management reporting
• Play a key role in the further SAP implementation and other IT-driven transformation projects
• Coordinate cross-departmental reports and ensure their timely delivery
• Prepare business cases, profitability analyses and financial models for strategic initiatives
• Develop controlling processes and management tools, including solutions for research and teaching

Your profile

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Economics or a related discipline
• Several years of relevant experience in management consulting, audit, corporate or healthcare controlling
• A proven ability to turn complex ideas into results - for example, by redesigning planning and month-end closing processes, developing reporting structures or integrating new business areas
• Initial leadership experience and a genuine passion for empowering, guiding and developing others
• Ideally, an understanding of the healthcare or hospital environment
• Confidence working with Excel and PowerPoint, as well as practical experience with Power BI or SAP are a plus
• Full professional proficiency in German at C1 level or above
• A sharp analytical mind, a structured approach and the drive to find pragmatic, sustainable solutions
