Head of Strategy for Advanced Therapies (f/m/d)

In this role you lead the global strategy function for Advanced Therapies, translating long-term objectives into a concrete strategic roadmap and growth priorities. You collaborate with strategy heads across business areas and Corporate Strategy to align on key initiatives. You shape AI and robotics focus areas for medical interventions and steer major strategic initiatives. You connect customer insights with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive value propositions. This position offers the chance to influence the strategic direction of AT within a global, matrix environment and to lead a diverse international team.

• Lead the overall Strategy function within the Advanced Therapies (AT) business area
• Develop and drive the global AT strategy and actionable growth priorities (organic and inorganic)
• Shape strategic focus areas in AI & robotics for medical interventions
• Steer key strategic initiatives and coordinate with stakeholders to meet objectives
• Understand customer needs via market insights to identify growth opportunities and value propositions
• Own decision-making processes and drive alignment on strategy priorities across AT
• Represent AT in cross-BL/cross-BA Strategy & M&A topics and initiatives
• Lead, develop, and inspire an international team

• Deep expertise in the MedTech industry and knowledge of Advanced Therapies dynamics
• Experience in medical devices, imaging, and digital technologies; familiarity with regulatory processes
• Proven track record in developing and executing business strategies in consulting and corporate environments
• Strong strategic toolbox: strategy development, business analysis, growth initiatives, M&A
• Broad cross-functional experience across strategy, product management, and general management
• Technical and R&D foundation with understanding of digitalization and AI
• Proven leadership of global strategic initiatives in complex matrix environments
• Innovative mindset with ability to drive transformation and stakeholder alignment
