Head of Supply Chain

As Head of Supply Chain you will define and drive the Group-wide supply chain strategy for BENEO and CropEnergies, delivering reliability, responsiveness, and efficiency across global sites and partners. You will lead a high-performance, cross-functional team and push digital, data-driven planning to align demand with capacity. This role focuses on S&OP excellence, portfolio optimization, and resilient processes that support sustainable growth. You will partner with the Executive Board to shape long-term value creation and profitability.

• Define and execute the integrated Group Supply Chain strategy, policies, and processes across production sites, co-manufacturers, warehouses, and geographies
• Lead, develop, and inspire the global Supply Chain organisation with a focus on transparency, collaboration, and talent development
• Establish a unified Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) framework across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons
• Lead the implementation of data-driven S&OP with OptiChain, including AI-enabled forecasting and robust governance
• Ensure deployment of Südzucker digital Supply Chain solutions (SAP TMS, SAP EWM, Logility) across BENEO and CropEnergies
• Drive product portfolio optimization and standardization to simplify operations and maximize value creation
• Define and monitor a comprehensive KPI framework for global SC performance and continuous improvement
• Harmonise logistics, warehousing, transportation, and 3PL to improve cost efficiency and service
• Develop and oversee risk-based SC management and business continuity strategies
• Support five-year plans, CAPEX/OPEX decisions, and align with financial, regulatory, and sustainability objectives
• Act as strategic partner to the Executive Board and Product Line leaders to drive growth and profitability
• Optimize end-to-end value chain to maximise service levels, minimise waste, and improve working capital

• At least 10 years of progressive leadership in global end-to-end supply chain management in an international manufacturing environment
• Experience in a role overseeing multiple sites and geographies
• Preference for background in food ingredients, bio-based products, or process industries
• Masters degree in a related field; strong strategic and analytical capabilities
• Proven track record in S&OP, forecasting, and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Experience with SAP TMS, SAP EWM, and planning tools is a plus
