Health, Safety & Environment Engineer (m/w/d)

In this role you will champion a proactive HSE culture at the Accelera eMobility site in Nuremberg, driving advanced HSE expertise to design and improve controls. You act as a technical partner across functions, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance and leading risk assessment and hazard prevention programs. You will build and maintain risk-based improvement plans, support day-to-day operations, and deliver training and communications to empower employees. This opportunity combines hands-on safety leadership with data-driven governance in a fast-evolving eMobility environment.

• Champion and promote HSE culture across the Nuremberg site
• Design, implement, and continuously improve HSE controls
• Serve as technical partner to cross-functional teams for compliance
• Lead hazard identification, environmental aspect identification, and risk assessments
• Drive hazard prevention and risk control systems, including CAPAs
• Support day-to-day operations with a structured, data-driven approach
• Develop and deliver HSE training and internal communications
• Analyze performance data, compliance findings, and audit results to plan improvements and support management reviews

• Degree in Health, Safety and/or Environment (or equivalent)
• Fluent in English and German
• Proven HSE experience, ideally in global or international settings
• Experience in eMobility or high-power electrical environments; familiarity with high-voltage safety standards (NFPA 70E, VDE ) is desirable
• Willingness to obtain relevant HSE certifications
