Infrastructure, DevOps Architect (m/f/d)

In this role you will own the infrastructure and platform roadmap, guiding technology choices to scale, reduce costs, and improve agility. You will work closely with platform, SRE, and dev teams to shape secure, reliable cloud and Kubernetes-based systems. You’ll enforce IaC and GitOps practices while mentoring engineers and documenting architecture decisions. You’ll address risks such as security gaps, outages, and cost overruns, delivering high-availability, observable platforms that support product goals. • Develop and own the infrastructure and platform roadmap
• Evaluate technologies and patterns to support scalability, cost efficiency, and agility
• Define technical specifications focusing on security, performance, reliability, observability, and cost optimization
• Champion Infrastructure as Code and GitOps using Terraform/OpenTofu, Pulumi, Helm, ArgoCD/Flux, and Ansible
• Mentor platform engineers, SREs, DevOps, and developers; foster cross-functional collaboration
• Produce high-quality living documentation: ADRs, design blueprints, runbooks, standards & guardrails, and platform guides
• Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks including security vulnerabilities, single points of failure, compliance gaps, drift, and cost overruns

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, SRE, or architecture roles
• 5+ years focused on production-scale Kubernetes and cloud platforms
• Deep Kubernetes expertise (architecture, operators, CNI/service mesh, multi-cluster federation, upgrades at scale)
• Strong hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure) and hybrid/on-premise integrations
• Proficiency in IaC and GitOps, containerization (Docker), CI/CD tooling, observability tools
