Interim Head of Tendering

About the role

In this role, you will lead the tendering team in Germany and further develop structures, processes, and pricing strategies. You will work closely with internal and international stakeholders and ensure efficient and transparent bid and cost management .

Your tasks

• Professional and disciplinary management of the tendering team Germany
• Control and further development of quotation and calculation processes
• Analysis and optimization of pricing strategies and commercial frameworks
• Ensuring margin transparency and economic evaluation of offers and projects
• Quality assurance of complex national and international tenders
• Assessment of commercial and contractual risks and opportunities
• Introduction and implementation of BIM in bidding and project processes
• Close collaboration with sales, engineering, controlling and international stakeholders
• Representation of the tendering function in management bodies

Your profile

• Several years of management experience in the areas of tendering, bid management or sales engineering
• Experience in transformation or interim mandates
• Excellent knowledge of pricing, cost calculation, contract structures and discount models.
• Background in a technically oriented industrial environment
• Experience with complex offer and project structures; BIM knowledge is an advantage.
• Structured, results-oriented work style and confident demeanor
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, also at executive level
• Fluent English and business-level German
