We are seeking an exceptional and strategic International Marketing Innovation Leader to drive the growth agenda for Chips and Tortillas, while leading flavour innovation across our portfolio.

This is a unique opportunity to shape category strategy across multiple markets, accelerate innovation, strengthen consumer relevance, and deliver sustainable business growth in a dynamic and evolving snacking landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop, align, and drive the global category strategy for Chips, Tortilla and Flavour
• Translate consumer insights, market trends, cultural shifts, category dynamics, and demand space opportunities into actionable growth strategies
• Lead the international category core team by understanding local market needs, fostering collaboration, and building alignment around shared objectives
• Define and lead the multi-year innovation pipeline end-to-end in close partnership with the R&D Category Leader and designated lead markets, while accelerating growth opportunities in areas such as Better-for-You snacking
• Continuously assess and optimise the category portfolio across products, concepts, packaging, communication, pricing and simplification
• Manage agencies and research partners with a strong focus on effectiveness, value creation, and return on investment
• Own and manage the allocated international marketing budget

Job Requirements

• University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; Master's preferred
• 12+ years of international FMCG marketing experience, ideally in food
• Proven success in category leadership, innovation, and portfolio strategy
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, retail dynamics, and market trends
• Experience with Demand Space frameworks and Ehrenberg-Bass principles is a plus
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across matrix organisations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, align, and mobilise international teams
• International experience across multiple markets, combined with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset
• Comfortable working independently and leading through influence without direct people management responsibility
• Thrives in a dynamic, international, and lean headquarters environment
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

Reporting Line

This position reports directly into the International Marketing & Innovation Director .

Location & Working Model

We strongly believe in the power of collaboration, teamwork, and face-to-face interaction. Therefore, we offer a flexible hybrid working model, with an expectation to be present 2-3 days per week, preferably in our Dusseldorf headquarters, or alternatively in one of our Intersnack offices in Europe.

Please note that this is not a fully remote position . Occasional travel to local markets and international locations will be required.
