Overview

In this role you will design, deploy and optimize critical IT infrastructure to support Vantage’s global operations. You will work within the Global Infrastructure Team to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable compute, storage, and networking solutions across regions. You’ll resolve complex issues, contribute to infrastructure projects, and mentor junior engineers while aligning work with ITIL-based processes and security standards. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that drives innovation in a fast-paced, global environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms (VMware, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Servers, Storage, Networking, Cloud Services)
Support operations across multiple locations and hybrid environments
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
Support upgrades, patches and configuration changes
Monitor performance, availability, and security of infrastructure
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions
Follow security, compliance, and governance requirements
Participate in on-call support rota when required
Travel approximately 5% (potentially higher) to support infrastructure and projects

Zentrale Anforderungen

Fluent English (written and spoken)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/Engineering
3–5 years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or technical support
Strong knowledge of compute/server platforms, storage technologies, virtualization (VMware), cloud (Azure), and networking
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
Ability to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders
Comfortable working in a global environment across regions
