Lead / Principal Deployment Engineer

As a Lead/Principal Deployment Engineer, you drive the hands-on implementation of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers, blending platform mastery with AI-augmented workflows to achieve fast, high-quality outcomes. You guide AI agents to build data models, analyses, and operational solutions while applying your judgment to ensure business relevance. This role centers on translating customer needs into technical specifications and measurable value, not manual coding. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable sustainable adoption and impact, in a mission-driven, AI-enabled delivery environment.

• Lead end-to-end deployment of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers
• Direct AI deployment agents to create data models, KPIs, and dashboards and validate outputs against business requirements
• Configure and build Celonis solutions across Process Intelligence Graph, data transformations, and AI-powered insights
• Identify process inefficiencies and root causes and translate domain knowledge into scalable patterns
• Define KPIs and quantify business impact; design operational solutions to drive adoption and conformance
• Roll out solutions, enable customer users, and manage handover and ongoing adoption
• Document design decisions and configurations for future reference and handoff
• Develop domain expertise in one or more process areas or industry verticals and contribute to platform roadmap

• 7+ years in management or IT/solution consulting or process improvement within software vendors or SI firms
• Proficiency in Celonis platform data modeling, process analysis, KPI definition, and automation; PQL, SQL, Python
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and ability to write and evaluate AI-generated outputs; prompt/context engineering a plus
• Strong business/process domain knowledge of enterprise processes and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle is a plus)
• Consulting and stakeholder management skills; ability to run workshops and deliver outcomes under ambiguity
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and measure impact
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Technology Management, Business Informatics, CS, Engineering, or related field
• Fluency in English and German
• Willingness to travel up to 50% depending on project needs
