• Define data, training, and experimentation environments for scalable data and compute access
• Lead creation of new training and benchmark datasets with rich semantic context and large-scale business data
• Collaborate to define evaluation frameworks and benchmark suites for novel tasks
• Make critical design decisions on technologies to use and implement foundational models
• Execute scientific experiments on internal and public data
• Drive open-source model and software contributions based on research outputs

• 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning on Structured Data within a business context
• Deep ownership of scalable ML and data environments with clear success criteria
• Knowledge of current research on Foundation Models for Structured Data
• Hands-on Data Engineering experience in solving data challenges
• Fluent in Python with ability to translate ideas into production-ready code
• Experience with SAP applications and underlying data models is a plus
• Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
