Job Opening: Part-Time Payroll and Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

• Independently performing monthly payroll processing
• Maintenance and Management of Billing and Personnel-Related Data
• Point of contact for employees, health insurance providers, and government agencies regarding all billing-related matters
• Ensuring compliance with income tax and social security regulations
• Assistance with financial accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting)
• Reviewing, assigning account codes to, and posting routine business transactions, as well as running payment cycles
• Account reconciliation and assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Contributing to the optimization of business and digital processes
• A varied role with responsibility in payroll and financial accounting

WHAT YOU BRING

• Successfully completed business apprenticeship, ideally with additional training in payroll or financial accounting , or as a tax clerk
• Professional experience in payroll and financial accounting
• Strong knowledge of income tax and social security law
• Proficiency in using common MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of abas and ELO is an advantage
• A structured, meticulous, and independent approach to work
• A high degree of discretion, a strong sense of responsibility, and reliability
• Ability to work as part of a team, flexibility, and enjoyment of a varied range of responsibilities
