Manager Corporate Development (m/f/d)

In this role you shape Heraeus Covantics' long-term strategy and value creation. You will engage with CEOs and the Leadership Team to identify growth options, new business fields, and market positioning. From structuring complex problems to delivering decision-ready recommendations, you drive end-to-end initiatives with real impact. You’ll work cross-functionally across business lines and help establish Corporate Development as a high-impact strategic function. • Shape long-term strategic direction for Heraeus Covantics and contribute to value creation
• Engage with CEOs and Leadership Team to define growth, focus, and portfolio decisions
• Structure and analyze complex problems and trends; translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Take selected strategic initiatives from plan to execution with measurable outcomes
• Collaborate across all five Business Lines and with external partners as needed
• Lead topics like portfolio strategy, new business development, and transformation work
• Help design and operate the Corporate Development function with clear methodologies
• Provide leadership development opportunities and contribute to board-level strategic depth

• 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally with a foundation in strategy consulting
• Industry experience and/or corporate development exposure
• Proven track record on complex strategic projects with senior-management visibility
• High ownership mindset with accountability from structuring to execution
• Curiosity about Semiconductors, Datacom, Photonics, Materials, AI and future trends
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to structure ambiguity and derive actionable insights
• Confident communicator with ability to engage senior stakeholders in writing and speech
• Leadership ambition and readiness to grow into broader responsibilities
• Comfort working across cultures, functions, and global locations
• Business-fluent in English; German is a strong plus
