Market Application Specialist

As a Market Application Specialist for Wyatt Technology's region (note: Waters Corporation is referenced in company section), you will be the scientific expert supporting pre-sales and customer adoption. You will engage scientists and industry professionals through seminars, trainings, and visits, translating complex concepts into clear benefits. Your work directly supports the commercial team by aligning applications with customer objectives and analytical challenges. The role offers impact across education, collaboration with account managers, and shaping customer value through expert guidance.

• Conduct seminars, user meetings, training sessions, customer visits, sample analyses, and instrument demonstrations to educate prospects
• Partner with Account Managers to act as a trusted scientific advisor and articulate how Wyatt Instruments address analytical challenges
• Assess application requirements and communicate solution benefits to help select suitable technologies
• Translate complex scientific concepts into clear customer benefits to drive successful outcomes and long-term relationships

• Bachelor in Chemistry or related
• Hands-on experience with HPLC (required)
• Experience with light scattering technologies and instrumentation (strong advantage)
• Solid understanding of protein or polymer characterization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques, analytical instrumentation, and scientific software
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities
• Experience in biopharmaceutical, polymer, or analytical characterization applications (SEC-MALS, DLS)
• Travel within territory and valid driver's license
