Field Marketing Specialist - Germany

As Field Marketing Specialist in Germany, you will shape and execute the DACH field marketing plan to grow brand awareness, leads, and pipeline. You will work with German Sales and EMEA Marketing leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable programs. You’ll run integrated campaigns, events, and demand-generation activities, balancing local and global initiatives. You’ll collaborate across teams, manage budgets and measure ROI to drive measurable growth for Fortinet’s cybersecurity portfolio.

• Develop, enhance and execute a field marketing plan aligned with corporate, EMEA and German priorities to drive brand awareness, leads and pipeline
• Create integrated marketing programs with a mix of tactics that generate quality prospects
• Localize programs to balance in-country and global campaigns for demand generation
• Manage regional activities including lead gen campaigns, events (virtual, hybrid, in-person), conferences and sponsorships
• Collaborate with EMEA ABM, Campaigns and DACH Business Development on closed-loop lead generation and localization
• Manage Field Marketing Budget (MDF) and track ROI for each activity
• Maintain relationships with local agencies and manage spend and invoicing
• Create MDF Purchase Requisitions and invoices management
• End-to-end reporting and analysis for field marketing activities using Salesforce.com
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 5 years in IT marketing, preferably cybersecurity
• Proven Field Marketing success for a high-tech vendor; industry vertical experience a plus
• Strong track record across field marketing tactics including integrated campaigns and PR
• German native speaker with strong English communication skills
• Business acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and deadline-driven execution
• Ability to plan and execute programs in a structured, priority-driven manner
• Data-driven, proactive, organized with strong communication and prioritization skills
• Experience with CRM/Marketing Automation and reporting (Salesforce.com, Swoogo)
• Proficiency in MS Office
