Marketing Operations and Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• We're looking for a sharp, self-driven Marketing Operations and Business Development Manager to build and run the commercial side of our new transport venture remotely from the Philippines.
• You will be responsible for getting the business off the ground, setting up the digital infrastructure, driving bookings through paid and organic channels, managing day‑to‑day operations, and identifying partnership opportunities that keep the vans on the road.
• The founder will be your key contact on the ground. You’ll work closely with them but operate with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a marketing operations or business development role — ideally across multiple functions
• Hands‑on experience running Google Ads
• Comfortable setting up and managing website platforms (Squarespace, WordPress, or similar)
• Experience with booking or CRM software; you don’t need to be a developer, but you need to be able to figure out new platforms quickly
• Strong written and spoken English; you’ll be communicating with Australian clients and partners
• Self‑starter who can take a brief and run with it
• Background working with Australian or other Western businesses is a strong advantage
• Experience in transport, hospitality, events, or tourism is a bonus
