Mid-Level Data Scientist – Credit Risk

Stellenbeschreibung:

Develop statistical models for all of BIP Brazil’s business segments, from initial data processing through the technical documentation of the solution
Build predictive and machine learning models
Develop analytics and BI solutions to provide the best possible solution and experience for clients
Maintain direct contact with the business consulting team to understand problems and potential solutions
Develop models using different statistical methodologies and programming languages
Suggest new approaches, techniques, or technologies to advance the data science practice and create value for users and clients

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; graduates from all fields of study are welcome
Previous experience in statistical modeling
Understanding of the modeling process, including developing code for database manipulation, variable selection, processing, and analysis, as well as discussions with business teams
Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python, including the development of macros and functions
Previous experience with credit risk models: scorecards, PD, EAD, and LGD
Proficiency in more than one programming language (preferred)
Experience with BI software (preferred)
Experience working on projects using AWS, GCP, or Microsoft technologies (preferred)
Experience working in an Agile environment (preferred)
Inquisitive profile with strong logical reasoning
Entrepreneurial mindset, with an appetite for major business challenges and an interest in working in the dynamic consulting environment
