Mid-Level Database Analyst – Night Shift

Stellenbeschreibung:

Respond to alerts and incidents and perform root cause analysis according to defined priorities and SLAs.
Execute changes (GMUD) at predetermined times according to the defined implementation plan (PI).
Report and escalation unsuccessful or recurring alerts to management.
Configure, monitor, and optimize database instances on AWS, including Amazon RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
Install, configure, and parameterize Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
Monitor instance performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize performance.
Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability.
Implement data backup and recovery strategies.
Maintain scripts and stored procedures to automate tasks and ensure data consistency.
Manage database scalability using auto-scaling and dynamic provisioning.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate databases with applications and systems.
Provide technical support and resolve database-related issues.
Execute procedures and create or update documents in the knowledge base.
Create environments, perform migrations and upgrades, and apply patches.

Requirements

Ability to work as part of a team, with strong interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of at least one DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of AWS Cloud.
Schedule: Night shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday to Friday.
Education: Completed or currently pursuing a university degree.
AWS public cloud certifications.
Database certifications.
SQL query tuning.
English: Able to write and read emails and documentation, participate as a listener in meetings and training sessions.
