Pharmacometrics Lead (Germany)

As Pharmacometrics Lead at UCB, you will steer a team of pharmacometricians to apply state-of-the-art modeling to pediatric drug development in neurology and immunology. You will shape the pharmacometrics strategy across assets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide outsourcing while growing internal expertise. Your work will inform dose selection, trial design, and regulatory discussions, contributing to value-driven development for patients. This role blends hands-on modeling with leadership, in a hybrid setup across Slough, Monheim, or Braine.

• Lead and mentor pharmacometricians, guiding project navigation within a matrix organization
• Develop and deliver pharmacometrics strategy to support asset development
• Perform population PK/PD analyses, exposure–response modeling, and clinical trial simulations on assigned projects
• Create submission-ready pharmacometrics analysis plans and reports
• Oversee outsourced pharmacometrics activities and integrate internally when suitable
• Maintain awareness of global regulatory pathways and opportunities for collaboration in pediatrics, neurology and immunology
• Promote MID3 internally and externally

• PhD or MD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics or Engineering
• 8+ years in (bio)pharmaceutical pharmacometrics with at least 2 years in line management
• Hands-on experience in population PK/PD, disease progression modeling, and clinical trial simulations
• Strong knowledge of Bayesian methods, model-based meta-analyses, PBPK, QSP, and AI/ML in pharmacometrics
• Expertise in R, NONMEM or related pharmacometrics software
