Pre Sales Engineer

In this role you will guide manufacturing customers through digital transformation with Tulip’s cloud-native, no-code platform. You will partner with sales to demonstrate value and secure technical wins, shaping how industrial operations scale with AI-driven apps. You’ll present tailored demos, address technical requirements, and collaborate with partners to accelerate adoption. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven position in a hybrid Munich-based setup with global scope. You will help define the next stage of Tulip’s growth in manufacturing digitalization.

• Consult customers and prospects to prepare their companies for digital transformation
• Collaborate with the sales team to advance opportunities and achieve a technical close
• Develop and deliver high-impact technical demonstrations of Tulip solutions
• Provide technical pre-sales support to channel and strategic partners including training on product demonstrations and positioning
• Identify technical stakeholders and align on Tulip solutions to secure commitments
• Manage internal requests and maintain documentation
• Contribute to needs gathering, requirement analysis, and RFx responses
• Lead scoping and estimation of implementation projects by the Professional Services team
• Coordinate with internal and cross-functional teams to inform product enhancements and delivery

• BS degree in Engineering; MS degree a plus
• 5-10 years of enterprise SaaS pre-sales experience
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Industrial operations
• Experience selling to/managing digital transformation in manufacturing
• Excellent business writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Preferred familiarity with MES/MoM, LES/LIMS, WMS, QMS, ERP, SPC, IIoT
