Pre-Sales Specialist Quant Valuation and Risk Solutions (m/f/d)

In this role you will support the growth of IQ Risk and independent Valuation Services across DACHL, partnering with regional sales to demonstrate how multi-asset valuation and risk analytics meet client needs. You act as a trusted advisor to banks, asset managers, insurers, and institutional clients, translating complex requirements into technical and service solutions. You will lead demonstrations, design architectures, and drive opportunities across multiple countries, enabling revenue growth. The role combines quantitative finance expertise with commercial impact in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

• Partner with Regional Sales Executives to drive revenue and support negotiations across territories
• Qualify client requirements and contribute to opportunity planning and solution design
• Deliver demos, PoCs, valuation benchmarks, and technical validation
• Lead discovery workshops on valuation policies, risk processes, data needs, and regulatory obligations
• Design solution architectures (APIs, data feeds, file-based integrations) aligned to client needs
• Act as SME for valuation methodologies, risk analytics, and regulatory frameworks
• Build relationships with stakeholders across investments, risk, operations, compliance, fund accounting, and tech
• Collaborate with Quant Analytics, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success to support development and sales
• Travel regularly across DACHL to meet clients and participate in events and internal work groups

• Proven experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Solution Engineering in enterprise SaaS, fintech, or quantitative analytics
• Strong understanding of valuation, risk analytics, capital markets, and financial instruments
• Experience supporting complex B2B sales cycles with senior stakeholders
• Excellent presentation, demonstration, and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to translate regulatory and operational challenges into tech/service solutions
• Commercial mindset with experience working toward revenue targets
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to influence diverse audiences
• Self-motivated and comfortable working across multiple countries and cultures
• Knowledge of valuation, risk management, market data vendors, APIs, cloud tech, quantitative risk concepts, and RFP/RFI processes is advantageous
• Fluent German and English; additional European languages advantageous
• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field; CFA/FRM/CAIA or equivalent advantageous
