Principal Consultant (m/f/d) - Allianz Consulting - Insurance Transformation

As a Principal Consultant in Allianz Consulting, you drive strategic transformation for senior stakeholders, translating strategy into actionable programs and operating models. You work across international teams to design and deliver large-scale improvements, governance, and value realization. • Lead complex strategic and transformation projects with clear business cases and operating models
• Establish and manage project governance, including steering committees and board updates
• Manage client relationships, guide junior colleagues, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
• Report progress, risks, and dependencies to Engagement Manager and stakeholders
• Analyze market trends and due diligence to identify improvement opportunities across insurance value chain
• Contribute to thought leadership, solution concepts, and new value opportunities
• Coach and mentor junior consultants to build a high-performance team
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout project lifecycles

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a comparable field
• 7+ years in strategy or management consulting with experience in large transformation programs and M&A due diligence
• Expert knowledge of AI and generative AI frameworks, with practical AI adoption experience
• Proven capability in strategy development, business planning, operating model design, and governance
• Experience in insurance or financial services is ideal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, entrepreneurial mindset
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
