Principal Project Manager Semiconductor IC Development (f/m/d)

In this role, you lead complex multi-site analog and mixed-signal IC development programs from concept to mass production, owning scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk. You’ll coordinate Design, Test, Validation, Quality, and Operations within a matrix setup to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with Renesas processes and automotive standards. You will drive cross-disciplinary execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication to deliver customer-ready solutions. • Represent and lead project across the matrix organization from concept to mass production release
• Drive comprehensive project planning with timelines, dependencies, critical path, resources and cost
• Ensure effective execution by establishing task ownership, controlling scope creep, and managing deviations and risks
• Escalate unresolved issues with clear problem statements and options for timely decisions
• Proactively identify risks, plan deviations, and drive mitigations and corrective actions
• Manage project change requests, assess impact, secure stakeholder approvals and communicate decisions
• Act as primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication of goals, plans, risks, and decisions across disciplines

• 10+ years in project management within semiconductor, industrial, or automotive product development
• 6+ years leading complex multi-site projects/programs with full IC development cycle
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Working knowledge of stage-gate developments and configuration/change management
• IATF 16949 and/or ISO 26262 knowledge is a plus
• Business-fluent English; German is an advantage
• IPMA Level C/B or similar certification
• Advanced MS Project (or equivalent), JIRA (or similar), Microsoft 365
• Ability to travel internationally
