Product Expert (f/m/d) for the Utilities Industry - Focus on German Regulation

In this role you will shape Industry AI opportunities for Energy and Natural Resources by translating regulatory and market needs into actionable product requirements. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver regulatory updates and new use cases, guided by customer interactions and business insights. The position sits in the Industry AI unit for ENR, focusing on AI-enabled product execution and measurable customer value. You will influence product priorities and leverage AI capabilities to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and implementation.

• Translate unclear customer challenges into clear problem statements and outcome-driven requirements
• Plan and deliver regulatory updates and new use cases with a development team
• Lead cross-functional alignment on customer value, product priorities, and measurable results
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and validate product concepts
• Leverage AI (Agentic AI and SAP Business AI) to accelerate research, prototyping, and QA of AI outcomes
• Promote AI adoption within the organization and cooperate on AI-powered execution
• Support data-driven decision making and roadmap development
• Contribute to establishing product management standards beyond immediate responsibilities

• Experience with utilities customers and understanding of market regulations
• Ability to translate customer challenges into actionable requirements and roadmaps
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business AI and Agentic AI and their practical applications
• Influence without formal authority and align cross-functional teams
• Ability to structure ambiguity and run discovery workshops
• Proactive use of AI in workflows for research, prototyping, and decision making
• Excellent German and English language skills
