Project Manager (German-Speaking) Advisors & Consulting Services, Deploy

In this role you will lead multiple complex client projects within Mastercard’s Advisors & Consulting Services, driving value through structured project and change management. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to align scope, timelines, and benefits, while mitigating risks and maintaining strong client relations. You shape strategic recommendations and contribute to Mastercard’s intellectual capital, helping clients transform and grow. This is a client-facing, impact-driven opportunity within a global payments ecosystem.

• Coordinate multiple projects and define team roles to ensure benefits delivery
• Identify and mitigate risks to protect timelines and outcomes
• Manage deliverables and workstreams across diverse industries and cultures
• Apply project and change management methodologies to drive measurable value for clients
• Define scope, timelines, budgets, and conduct cost-benefit and risk analyses
• Report issues, risks, progress, and options with credible solutions
• Maintain trusted relationships with client managers and act as a reliable partner
• Develop business recommendations and present to clients
• Plan and structure work, including mentoring junior team members
• Lead team and client meetings and contribute to solution development and brand governance
• Grow project management ownership and coach junior consultants
• Contribute to Mastercard Data & Services intellectual capital

• Undergraduate degree with experience in project management and change management
• 4-7 years of project management experience
• Experience with financial institutions, payments, or consultancies
• Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders
• Logical, structured thinking
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Effective communication in English and the local office language
• Eligibility to work and travel as needed
• Willingness to travel to client sites semi-regularly
