Quality Validation Engineer - Batteriesysteme

• Lead failure analysis of battery packs and cell modules and create root cause reports
• Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment for high-voltage battery systems with regard to quality, cost, and ergonomics
• Act as the main contact for OEM quality departments and internal stakeholders on quality-related topics
• Resolve product and process quality issues using structured root cause analysis methods and implementation of corrective actions

Required skills:

• Degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience (minimum 5 years) in root cause analysis within the automotive industry
• Experience with high-voltage battery systems, e-mobility, or other safety-critical products
• Knowledge of common automotive quality standards and methods (Ishikawa, 8D problem-solving process, VDA 6.3, MSA)
• Structured and organized working style with strong self-motivation
• Strong decision-making skills, assertiveness, independence, flexibility, and team orientation

Nice to haves:

• Qualification as Elektrofachkraft, ideally with DGUV 209-093 certification
• Experience with FMEA/APIS
• Knowledge of VDA 19 residual contamination analysis
• Knowledge of fastening/screw technology
• Initial leadership experience in interdisciplinary teams, e.g. as project or sub-project lead
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on occasion
