Senior Quality Engineer Propulsion (m/f/d)

As part of the Quality team, you ensure propulsion parts meet standards by enforcing quality policies and introducing improvements. You will monitor production cycles, perform inspections, and coordinate corrective actions to address nonconformities. You’ll oversee processes and ensure proper use of tools, materials, and procedures while establishing quality metrics. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to raise customer satisfaction through product quality. This role offers hands-on impact at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing.

• Monitor the production cycle and assembly of propulsion parts; plan and execute QC activities
• Evaluate nonconformities and specify corrective actions
• Conduct site inspections and ensure technical standards are met
• Oversee tools, materials, and procedures usage; determine quality metrics
• Understand test requirements and propose issue resolutions
• Create quality and safety documentation
• Plan regular product inspections and manage internal audits
• Prepare QC plans aligned with company plans and review documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction

• University degree in engineering or related field
• 10+ years of quality management and compliance experience in Aviation & Aerospace
• Experience with statistical quality control methods in manufacturing
• Experience with cause-effect analysis and problem-solving methods (5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa)
• Strong knowledge of APQP processes (preferable)
• Knowledge of AS 9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015; Internal Auditor certification
• Fluent in English and German
