Senior Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you oversee quality across the assembly, integration and testing of launch vehicle sub-assemblies, collaborating with production to enforce quality management policies and implement improvements. You plan and execute QC activities, manage nonconformities and CAPA, and ensure technical standards through audits and inspections. You will create quality and safety documentation and drive internal audits and product inspections. Your work supports higher customer satisfaction by elevating product quality and reliability in a cutting-edge space program.

• Monitor the full assembly, integration and testing cycle of launch vehicle sub-assemblies
• Plan and execute quality control activities and evaluate nonconformities
• Specify corrective and preventive actions to resolve problems
• Conduct quality checks through site inspections and ensure standards are met
• Oversee production and engineering processes for proper tools, materials and procedures
• Understand test requirements and propose solutions to issues
• Create quality and safety documentation
• Plan and organize regular product inspections and manage internal audits
• Prepare quality control plans in line with company plans and review documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction

• University degree in engineering, management or related field
• At least 10 years in a highly regulated production environment (Aerospace, Defence, Automotive) with 3 years in Quality or Testing
• Prior knowledge in CFRP manufacturing and testing advantageous
• Experience in statistical quality control methods in manufacturing
• Experience with cause-effect analysis and problem-solving methods (5 Why, 8D, Fishbone/Ishikawa)
• Knowledge of APQP and ISO 9145 advantageous
• Knowledge of AS 9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 and Internal Auditor certification advantageous
