Overview

As Ramp Safety Manager in Frankfurt, you will lead safety on the ramp across Frankfurt, Munich, and Berlin airports. You will audit ramp operations, drive immediate corrective actions, and guide drivers and ops teams to maintain compliant, safe practices. You will develop and deliver safety trainings, conduct dock and flight audits, and investigate incidents to drive preventive improvements. The role sits at the intersection of operations, safety, and regulatory compliance, helping Newrest uphold its safety-first culture across multi-site catering and logistics. This is a hands-on, fast-paced leadership role that shapes safety performance in a global hospitality-focused aviation environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Evaluate ramp compliance through audits and implement corrective actions
  • Guide and coach ramp drivers for safe operations and immediate corrections
  • Perform interactive flight and dock audits with driver and guide teams
  • Ensure adherence to Newrest, airport, civil aviation, and local regulations
  • Lead safety training programs and proactive safety communications
  • Investigate accidents and safety opportunities; recommend corrective actions
  • Operate company vehicles following policies and conduct pre/post-shift checks
  • Identify improvement areas and develop action plans to boost performance
  • Ensure staff safety training and onboarding before start of work
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • 2–4 years of experience in a Safety Manager or similar role
  • 2–4 years in transportation, logistics, or a field with driver oversight
  • Experience creating safety programs and changing safety culture
  • Proven ability to manage a team of direct and indirect reports
  • Executive-level planning experience
  • Ability to build successful teams and partnerships
  • Valid work permit and driving license
  • Ability to meet airport clearance requirements
