The City of Minden is accepting applications for a full-time Recycling Worker to assist with the city’s recycling program. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, residential and commercial recycle collections throughout the City, and unloading and sorting items from recycling trailers and various containers for compaction, shredding and bailing. The work environment is performed both inside and outside with exposure to weather. The applicant must be willing to assist in other departments and be able to work in areas in excess of 10’ off the ground. This position requires that the candidate have a valid driver’s license and must be at least 18 years of age. No experience is necessary. The pay range is $17.69-$19.32 per hour DOE. The successful applicant will receive a highly competitive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off and retirement plan.
