Regional Head of Life Sciences & Healthcare (LSH) – Air & Ocean

In this role you drive the global Life Sciences & Healthcare (LSH) vertical strategy in Air & Ocean, translating plans into actionable programs. You lead growth initiatives, governance, and cross-functional alignment to deliver revenue and service quality. You manage key accounts, engage senior stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance across the global network. You shape solutions with a collaborative, results-driven approach and act as the escalation point for major customer issues, enabling sustainable, customer-centric growth.

• Define and execute global LSH vertical strategy with annual planning for revenue, volume, and gross profit; translate strategy into concrete initiatives and governance.
• Lead, coach and develop Key Account Management and Business Development resources within the LSH vertical; manage strategic global customers and high-potential opportunities.
• Oversee quality governance and regulatory compliance for LSH in Air & Ocean, translating requirements into standardized frameworks and KPIs; drive risk assessment and continuous improvement.
• Align Global, Regional, and Country Sales with Product, Operations, Pricing and Tender teams; promote cross-functional collaboration and capability development; ensure commitments align with operational capacity.

• Senior experience in freight forwarding or logistics with a focus on Life Sciences & Healthcare and global customer management
• Proven track record in leading strategic growth initiatives and developing high-performing commercial teams
• Strong understanding of value creation in logistics (cost-to-serve, productivity, total cost of ownership, inventory considerations)
• Hands-on tender management, solution design, and complex deal execution
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management in an international environment
• Analytical, structured, execution-oriented; able to operate independently in a matrix organization
• Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous
