Regional Vice President – Work Comp Insurance (Southern CA)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of national and local region workers’ compensation accounts in Southern California.
• Achieve profitability goals and high renewal retention for the book.
• Lead and coordinate a team of service professionals (claims and loss control).
• Direct roll‑out of program and service plans and monitor accounts for trends.
• Communicate account information to marketing and underwriting departments.
• Build strong relationships with insureds’ senior management and serve as primary contact.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of experience in account management, production, or managing a loss control department for a commercial insurance company, preferably in workers’ compensation.
• Four years of experience in a leadership role directing a team.
• Additional experience in underwriting, loss control, or claims is a plus.
• Strong analytical and math skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and working with loss runs.
• Must reside in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena, or San Fernando Valley.

Salary Range

$130,000.00 – $172,500.00

Location

Southern California – Long Beach, Los Angeles, Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena, San Fernando Valley. Work from home; up to 60% travel, possible overnight travel.
