Sales Manager Europe – Powder Metal Business Unit

In this role you will drive European growth for the Powder Metal Business Unit, building strong OEM and Tier 1 partnerships. You will steer cross-functional teams through RFQ, quotations and project launches to meet customer needs and deliver on commitments. You’ll stay ahead of industry developments to spot new opportunities and contribute to the company’s European expansion. This position offers exposure to high-precision powder metal components for drivelines and powertrains, with a clear impact on market presence and profitability.

• Proactively develop new business in the European market for the Powder Metal BU
• Lead negotiations with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to build lasting partnerships
• Steer cross-functional teams through RFQ, quotation and project launch phases
• Serve as the interface between customers and internal stakeholders to align expectations, timelines and deliverables
• Proactively manage risks, issues and escalations to sustain customer relationships
• Ensure projects meet contractual, quality and timeline commitments
• Use project management and reporting tools and follow established workflows
• Support quality standards and customer audits, ensuring adherence to processes and brand standards
• Stay informed on industry developments to identify new opportunities

• Minimum 5 years of business development experience in an automotive Tier 1 supplier with OEM exposure and driveline knowledge
• Experience in powder metal components is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
• Fluency in English essential; German preferred
• Strong skills in marketing, business development, project management, negotiation, time management and prioritization
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused
• Team player with a can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to travel frequently (~50%), mainly in Europe and occasionally overseas
