Senior Application Support Engineer

Our team "Offer Management & Digital Channel" is responsible for the sales‑oriented systems that transform prospects into customers – CRM, customer portal, product configurator, and our Sales Desk solution. In these systems, offers for energy sales are created, finalised, and handed over to delivery. We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer (m/f/d) to help shape the future of digital sales systems.

What Will You Do

• Operation & further development of central systems – responsible for the stable operation and further development of the product configurator as well as support of the CRM system and its interfaces.
• Requirements & solution management – recording requirements together with business analysts and product owners and developing optimal technical solutions.
• Technical implementation & quality assurance – participation in development, testing, bug fixing, monitoring and maintenance of the relevant documentation.
• Service, incident & vendor management – handling incidents and service requests according to ITIL standards in ServiceNow and managing external service providers.
• Project work & agile further development – driving projects for digitisation and optimisation of sales processes and implementation using agile methods such as SCRUM.

What Will You Bring

• Completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification.
• At least 7 years of professional experience.
• Experience operating Java‑based web applications and strong SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of test, change, incident and problem management.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially Azure.
• Analytical, communicative and team‑oriented working style.
• Experience with agile methods such as SCRUM/Kanban.
• Excellent German and English skills.
