(Senior) Clinical Program Lead

As Senior Clinical Program Lead, you will drive phase II–III development for obesity and liver diseases within a newly formed Global Clinical Development group. You will steer cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality trial execution and shape regulatory and medical affairs input to strengthen the pipeline. You’ll translate strategy into actionable development plans and assess external opportunities to create durable patient value. • Design and oversee phase II–III clinical development plans for obesity and liver diseases
• Lead cross-functional teams (clinical operations, biostatistics, biomarkers, patient safety) to ensure high-quality trial execution
• Oversee trial setup, conduct, and data readout with the Clinical Trial Lead, ensuring timelines and ethics
• Contribute to regulatory strategy and prepare briefing documents and responses
• Support Medical Affairs strategy and deliverables (e.g., Integrated Evidence Plan) with Medical Advisor(s) and Medical Affairs Lead
• Assess external opportunities and influence decisions to strengthen the pipeline
• Senior role: supervise and mentor other Clinical Program Leads and act as a delegate in designated tasks

• MD degree with clinical and scientific experience in oncology
• Several years in clinical drug development in pharma or academic clinical research
• Strong influencing and cross-stakeholder collaboration abilities
• Proven skills in presenting scientific content and leading cross-functional discussions
• High initiative, strategic thinking, and team orientation
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Senior role: long-standing clinical and scientific oncology experience; senior leadership and cross-functional team motivation
