Senior CPU Performance Developer Technology Engineer

In this role you drive CPU performance research and optimization for NVIDIA’s CPUs within the Devtech team. You will collaborate with developers and cross-functional groups to improve software stacks and reference code. You’ll influence next-generation architectures and assess performance impact to boost developer efficiency. This is a hands-on, community-facing position at the intersection of research, engineering, and customer guidance, offering meaningful impact at scale.

• Engage with the developer community to understand current and future problems
• Guide framework and application developers, contribute to software stacks or reference code
• Collaborate with architecture, research, libraries, tools, system software, and product management teams to improve products
• Investigate and influence the design of next-generation architectures and software stack by evaluating application performance and developer efficiency
• Perform in-depth analysis and optimization to maximize performance on current and future NVIDIA CPUs

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and/or Fortran
• Solid understanding of software design, programming techniques, and algorithms
• Hands-on experience with benchmarking and optimizing enterprise and cloud workloads
• Good communication and organization skills, with time management and prioritization abilities
