Senior Industry Manager - Production Environments

In this role you will shape strategy for production environments across industrial sectors, guiding Autodesk’s market and product direction. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate customer workflows into actionable opportunities and influence investments and go-to-market plans. You’ll engage with customers, partners, and industry leaders to validate ideas and advance high-value initiatives. The role combines industry expertise with market insight to drive resilience and efficiency in asset‑intensive operations.

• Develop evidence-based sector and market perspectives grounded in customer workflows, priorities, and technology trends
• Synthesize customer, market, and competitive insights to identify opportunities and articulate value and success measures
• Shape market positioning and prioritization for Autodesk opportunities and strategic investments
• Translate industry opportunities into product, platform, and portfolio implications and provide credible recommendations
• Influence roadmaps and cross-functional investment decisions by clarifying value, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, analysts, and associations to shape strategy and expand Autodesk’s ecosystem
• Lead high-value customer and industry engagements to test ideas and surface needs
• Communicate complex industry choices clearly to senior audiences and drive cross-functional alignment around strategic priorities
• Guide strategic initiatives from insight to initial execution and refine direction with new evidence

• 8+ years of experience in industrial operations, product or market strategy, consulting, or transformation
• Strong knowledge of production environments and relevant workflows, priorities, and technologies
• Experience developing market, product, or transformation strategies using customer research and market intelligence
• Proven ability to influence strategic priorities across cross-functional teams
• Experience engaging senior customer leadership, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to simplify complex topics
• Experience leading strategic initiatives in a matrixed organization
• Ability to travel ~25–30%
